In addition to all the above all wine producing countries and regions are outlines, principles of matching food and wine explained.

Three extensive appendices, a glossary of wine terms, and bibliography competes the book, that is the official textbook of the institute and was written by three highly experiences, well-travelled and knowledgeable instructors.

The objective of the book is to provide in-depth information to the reader (student or wine enthusiast).

Lots of illustrations help readers visualize vineyards, maps and other helpful pictorial presentations.

Anyone interested in wine professionally, culinary, and simply as a consumer will benefit greatly from reading this book, and keep it as a reference.

Completely up-dated, the information is valuable even to wine buyers, store clerks and company executives, dealers, marketing people, advertising agencies, and people who write advertising copy.

This book has several unique features, the most important of which extensive quotations from internationally recognized sommeliers, chefs, and restaurateurs; these quotations point out key issues and present questions for students and consumers to think about or attempt to answer.

Exploring Wine is practical, beautifully and logically laid out, and encyclopaedic in nature.

Highly recommended for all who deal  with wine and enjoy it!
