Blind wine tasting adventure
In the depths of winter and with our guides for cycling tour in the Boston office is our favorite thing to do?
Blind tasting course!
So how does this? Well, Andy Levine, founder of DuVine gave Tom Coppock, Manager of the Italian tour and Tommy Pace, Tourist Guide of French a budget of $40 and has asked to get out and find the best wine regions as we travel on our France cycling tours and Italy bicycle tours and back in for a tasting.
Blind tastings are always great fun and include lots of interesting as - terminology funky, earthy and plush, all great wines terms and the favorite "trusted nose!"
The two wines who bought were:
Chateau de 2001 Bard-Haut, St. Emilion, Bordeaux, France2006 Bianco Aldo, Barbaresco, Piemonte, Italy.
Two of these wines come from regions that we manage our bicycle tours and indeed Tommy climbed by exact vines that produce the Bard of Chateau-top. Thus, the big question was could Andy correctly guess wine country and the region?
You'll have to watch the video to see what happened.

Some new year's resolutions DuVine
Well, it is the time of the year, resolution time!
Who knows where the tradition started, but it has certainly become popular. Some resolutions only last a few days, and we know all these types of resolutions. Other resolutions are fully achievable and help lead us in the year by adding the richness of our lives and the lives of others.
Here at DuVine adventures we went around to the Office to see what resolutions we could find; Some lists were long and some are short, but here are a few that we wanted to share with you:
Andy - stretch more before and after my wrinkles.
Alisa - to share the pleasure of a Piemonte Chardonnay with friends and take my DuVine dream trip to Switzerland.
Holly - to try to cook more and go green and making it less waste.
Ed - mount my bike every morning temperature is greater than 25 degrees... and it is not too cold nor too windy, from March, the end of March.
Gwen - to work on the purchase of a place of my own with my very own garden and of course add in the usual working resolution 5 times per week and to return to form BUT… upwards all other annual resolutions that seem to never last more than two weeks, I am a resolution final to keep those resolutions. "Ask me next year how I've done"
Michelle - to reset my sleep cycle so that I can retire to bed with enough time to hit the gym before work, get to each class in my Spanish course, come and join us in a tennis league.
Neshelle - be my first trip to Europe, preferably Italy!
If you have some resolutions to share their post in the comments section below.
